Welcome back to the simplified success podcast so excited that you are checking out today's episode. It is kind of a Rift style episode. I was out for a walk, Flash run, that kind of inspired it, just recorded it while I was out. I'm so excited for you guys to check it out. So what was my focus system, which is really what helps you to keep balance in your life to make sure that you're doing what matters most to you every day, as well as breaking down how to set up a quarterly plan. So I know planning super boring for me, it kind of makes you excited. But I know for a lot of people it's not that fun. But what I can tell you is that the system that I have implemented and that I teach in this course is one that is very simple because I like to keep things very simple. It's a way to set a plan as an outline, so you're not stuck into it. You can't. It's like you can't move around and a lot of times with planning, you don't even do it because you don't want to be stuck, right, So this gives you the the ability to move around as things happen, changed things around, but also know where your goings you can reach your goals. So this program is something that I am but really so excited about because it's a masterpiece that's been in the making for the last couple of years, and it's something that feels like is so perfect in my opinion and set up to really help you get the tools and the resource is you need to be able to reach your goals. Welcome back to our guest, So I wanted to jump in today. Sometimes I want this to be more conversational. I know the 1st 5 episodes were very was me telling stories, but then really just getting into the medias and start talking to people a little more formal. So today I'm coming at you guys. I'm actually just went for a run walk because the stroll doesn't run but have a very important part of your body is important. So make it a priority. Walking in his past here in Texas, marching piston right now with my husband's family and wanted to talk to you a little bit about doing things you don't want to dio habits because right now I'm doing something I hate doing. I'm gonna be really hate running. I hate who my body found something, but I'm walking like physically doing things, but it takes the actual effort for me to go for around, to go to the gym, to make those things that should be a private in everyday life. We know it's the core of what makes this better. It's hard for me and I think sorry about the wind. I think there's a lot of different pieces that we walk through in our life, where their habits for their behaviors that we know are better for us and their habits and behaviors that are things that we just do that we know you're not service. So what I wanted to talk about today going into the new year. Right now it's December 26 after Christmas probably was up today or tomorrow. Um, I wanna talk to you about how you set yourself up for success because someone who does like what I do where I hope business owners and people put in processes, tools and and use things to make their life for efficient and plan better and had all the goals and do all the things all that's awesome, right? And having those having those resource is is a game changer. I firmly believe in you have the right tools for what you're trying to make happen, you will reach your goals. But that being said, there's a huge mindset. Place that goes into success was a huge mindset piece that makes all that happened because you can have the best plant. You can have the best tools you can have the best team. But if you don't have the mind set to do the things that sometimes you don't want to dio, you don't have the mind set to change the behaviors that you know don't serve you or move things around in relationships that are not serving what you're trying to create when you're trying to re program what your day looks like in order to better serve you in what you're trying to dio facades hard, and the bottom line is, there's no tool system process. Our plan. I can out fix you not doing the things, and I know this because I tried it so a little background Mike. My current business Simple Bites affects my current brand. It's not my 1st 1 guys. I have done multiple tried different things that I feel we're all failures and successes and the best way because they taught me every step of the way how I needed to change what I needed to do to make it better, how I needed to change myself, to be ready for what was coming. So in every situation, because my mind said, it is structured this way. I've worked so hard on this and this is something where it comes into. This is the piece that changes everything. You guys, I always had a good plan because that's just how I'm wired. I always had tools because I believe in tools. I didn't always have the mindset. I didn't always have the mindset to say. These are the things these of the inputs that creates my result, usually inputs that changes what I want to have happened. I could always identify them. My biggest issue has always been what I used to say. It was the consistency issue and have become very clear at this point in my life. That is not a consistency issue because when things matter to me, I am consistent. When I make it in priority, I am consistent. It's a commitment issue, so if you find yourself starting stopping starting and stopping, making the plan, knowing these are the things that you need to do. We all know in our hearts the things that we could be doing that changed the way our results show up. We know in our hearts the steps we need to take the things that we need to dio what socks is that usually these things or hard, they were easy. We would already do them. It takes effort and takes doing the work it takes pushing yourself, it takes learning the tools that help you. And then when you run into that circumstance about situation, actually using those tools so myself have always struggled always with being consistent about moving my body, it is something that, honestly, at this point in my life, because I have started and stopped it so many times. It carries such a level of shame for me that me being who I am, why're the way that I am to make things happen and do whatever it takes? Can't seem to get this thing right. Can't seem to be consistent, can't seem to be committed, can't seem to show up and move my body and do the things every day right, and I'm not saying you have to go to the gym and lift every day. I'm just talking about moving my body 30 minutes to an hour, every day, doing something active, right, not just walking on rocks, right? Whether that goes for a walk with my dogs or going for a run, we're going and doing my lifting or whatever it is. Whatever that looks like for you, this from Houston, something that has been a struggle forever. And when I started to realize, is when I start tackling the things that I know carry the most shame for me the most things were I have said I'm going to do it and I've gone all in and I have not had integrity with myself. When I start to tackle these things, that's when the shift happens. So about three years ago, that thing for me was my finances. I went to college. I moved far away from my family, and I I borrowed my way through college, and whether it's my own ignorance or however you want to look at it, I ended college with a very large amount of borrowed money that had been gaining interest while I was in school, I was not a good steward of the money that I had. I didn't have a good system or tool in place and honestly, so scared of money and so scared of managing it, so scared I wasn't gonna have enough. I would do the thing where you don't look at, All right. And I did that for years. And I just got myself buried and more berry and more buried. And I'm smart, right? Like you guys. I'm smart. I know better. So it was even more shameful for me because I'm smart and I know better, and I just wouldn't look at it. I wouldn't look at it about why I was about five years ago. It wasn't. There is only five years ago I said no more. I can't keep doing this. I'm making money. Always feel broke. Can't do this anymore. So I went looking for the tools because I didn't have tools. I didn't have a system. My system was Money comes into my account. It goes out of my account. I don't really know when or why or how. Most of time my bills are paid, but I don't know what the heck is going on, and they never really know how much money I have, right? That was my old system. So that was something that hard. It was shameful. And when I added up how much how much debt I had created for myself by both going to school far away, making choices, all choices that I made and and spending in ways that didn't really serve my goals, I'd put myself in a pretty good whole, right. It's really scary to look at it, but I made those steps and I started and I will tell you I cried and I laughed and I cried and I laughed and I went through all the emotions. But I got myself a sister, and it's more often changed over the last five years. At this point, my system looks completely different, especially after getting married because we do our money together to each his own on how you handle that. But it checks, um, meshing and finding the right tools and finding the right systems. We're back and we're back in line. It's great, but what I can tell you is that making that shift in me, where I started looking at. Okay, this is debilitating me. This is keeping from reaching my goals because I literally, um, stress about this all the time, and it is holding me back. Here's an anchor. So I I found the tools I found. The resource is I changed the habits. Okay, So what I want you guys to look at this is something that I've been looking at walking into the new Year is What is that thing? What does that mindset walk? That? That habit, That thing. You know what it is for you. You knew what it was when we started having this conversation. You know what's holding you back? You know that there's something in your day, some habit you need to create some some way of doing things and tool. You need to find something you need to put in place that serves you in a way to free up your brain power to focus on your goals and focus on your dreams. Because here's the bottom line. You guys, we only have so much energy in our brain. We only have so much room to expend towards things. Stress and anxiety takes a lot of that energy. So if you aren't sure what the thing is, what's the thing you said about the most? What's the thing that you have the most anxiety about and what do you need to do to change it? So for me, I'm really happy with how my body looks. I have no issues with image or how I look, but I know that when I look at the things that make me a high performance, the things that make everyone on high cliffs over yeah, my gap is my consistency and integrity with myself around, how I show up for my body when it comes to moving my body nutritionally. On one point, I'd take really good care of myself. Me for sure, but I have never made this a priority. And here's Here's the biggest reason why you guys, because I think I need to run every day. It's not because I think I need Teoh lift and have a lot of this stuff. It's not about the actual thing. Here is the biggest thing I need to mend the thing between me and myself where I don't keep my own promises, Okay, so I have made promises to myself so many times more than I could count. This is gonna be the time. This time I'm going to be consistent with my with my working out this time, I'm going to show up and work out every day and every time that I have not done it. I am literally lying to myself. And that integrity issue with myself is a bigger problem. And you could ever imagine, because if I can't even do that for myself and tell the truth to myself about showing up to run 30 minutes a day or move my body or go for a walk or lift the like, I said, I it is important to me and like I said, I can. What of my brain going to do when I say I want to go to the big thing? What is my brain going to say? What I had going to do when I say OK, it's time I want to go. I want to do the event. I want you to retreat. My brain's gonna go OK, saying girl who wouldn't even show up for herself for 30 minutes a day. You don't have any integrity with yourself Why on earth do you think you can do that? And then you're on the battling with yourself on all the reasons why you can't make your dream or your goal habits. So these little things that we do every day, these little habits their little right. So, having the morning routine, starting your day with consistency. But these little things that are small that show you that you have integrity with you and that you keep your own promises with yourselves are the game changer. You guys thes compound over time, and they are the building blocks for you to be able to get to the highest part of the mountain. The great thing about our goals and our dreams and all the things you want to create is we have full control of all of it and these little things of being integrity with yourself. I'm going to get up early today and actually doing it. Check my God. Like this isn't makes fun of my dad used to tell me about theirs. A bank about trust. Okay? Told me when I was a kid, if he listens to, but she's gonna laugh. So there's a bank trust and every time you do something that's with integrity, an honest and truthful you put deposits in the bank. Whenever you do something without integrity, why cheat, steal whatever you. You take withdrawals from that bank and intentionally, they're not equal one toe once. So every time you make a deposit, they make one of the time, right. But when you make a withdrawal, it takes out chokes at a time. Maybe it's a 10 to 1 editor, but it takes a ton more of the honesty's putting back in the integrity deposits to fix that withdraw. So when you look at yourself and I don't mean your relationship with your family or your husband or your wife or whoever, when you look at your relationship with you, what does that deposit look like? And what is that withdrawal look like? How often are you telling yourself? But you're gonna do something, telling yourself this is the time or telling yourself whatever it is, whatever promise you're making between you and you, how many times you are you putting deposits in, And how many times are you taking withdrawals? The relationship that you have with yourself around this, this integrity keys is what makes or breaks your ability to hit miracles. Because if you don't have the integrity within yourself to know when I say something, I do it to know when I'm gonna be that human. This is this is the version of me that showing up Watch me if you don't have that integrity with yourself, every single thing you try and do bigger small is gonna feel like on Mountain because you are going to be fighting against your brain's inner ability or inner need to keep you safe. And the bottom line is, if you don't never do the things you say you're going to dio there is no proof for your brain to say, Yeah, you said you were going to do it and you're the person who shows that. So what I want you guys to do going into this new year going into this new time, this is kind of their I believe you can make change anytime in the I don't think the New Year has any merit, whether or not you have the ability to make a significant change. But I didn't know there's something powerful about a new here because That's how it's always been for you and me and all the people. We always look at a new year. You start a new opportunity new whatever. I want you to dio as you're walking into this. So I want you to think about and be honest with yourself. Where have you not been? Integrity with you? Where have where? What is the thing? What is the habit that you need to instill? Just pick one guys is very hush up to Don't go through All five pick the one that you believe will have the most impact. The one that you've lied to yourself about the most. For me, it used to be money. Now it has to do with move my damn body, right? Pick the thing and decide you have integrity. Because I promise you if you look at the integrity you have with yourself if that's how you treated your spouse, your best friend, your kid, anybody in your life your boss, you would have those relationships anymore. Okay, So look at this for yourself and decide what does that happen? What is that thing that changes everything? Okay. And here's my little tip for you. guys, when you decide what the habit is that you're gonna make the shift on foundational thing that you know is the anchor that is affecting the integrity you have with yourself when you decide what that is, your brains immediately going to do the whole Yeah, you, right. You told me that a bazillion times. How many times you written this down? We've done this January thing multiple times. Lady man. Sir. You know, whatever. Why is this time different? Yeah, right. You can't do this. Here's Here's one of my mindset from my mindset toolkit. Actually, I use this in my local side success program. Could I prove this in a court of law you don't look at? Is there any proof that exist within you at any point where you've done something you didn't think you could do? Okay, I don't want you to think high level here, okay? You walk right, You talk, you do things that at some point in your life, for a Nazmul, you are capable of anything. There is proof in your life that you are capable to do the thing. Okay? So when your brain starts to play a trick on me. This is for my mindset to Okay. Okay. Can I prove us in a court of law? Can you? Okay. And if your brain still keeps playing with you, start listing all the things that you have done in your life that are successful. You graduated from high school. You played this sport. You got the award. You have the attendance award, you finish college. You what? It could be something so small. You are potty trained. You use the bathroom by yourself, okay? It does not have to be these big things. But the thing you have to realize that I think the more you're around kids I'm not around kids. Pretend like I'm not gonna pretend like if you don't actually know me in real life yet not around kids that much. But I'm around kids enough to know that when you look at a baby, it's unfashionable that that thing grows fast. That it does learn how to walk, talk, use the bathroom on its own, and then someday becomes a contributing member of society. Everything about that makes no sense, right? That's because you are an incredible human who is capable of incredible things here. so there is very little that you have not been integrity with yourself. Are that could be proven in a court of law that you are incapable of doing? If you decide that now is the time because this piece amazing small. So me coming out here in the middle of parallel in Texas here. Beautiful, right? Actually walking in a park. Okay, there's, like a little lake lake with a river on a river. Either the body of water that is narrow. I would send you a picture, but you cannot see that doing this and coming out and freeing up my brain and doing the thing that I know is the thing that holds me back opened up the creativity to record this podcast. You guys, the thing that's holding you back is the thing that you have the integrity with yourself. That sucks it. Okay? I only ran 1/2 a mile before I had this epiphany that I needed to record podcasts. Okay, Don't worry. Often it's the whole workout. But what I want you guys to think about is that there are anchors that you have been carrying forever in their little things that you have full control over changing if you decide it's time. Okay, So set yourself up with the right tools with the right pieces of what you need to be able to reach your goals, and that starts with an promise you the key to being able to be brave. So reaching your goals always comes down to how brave of you to do this because to reach your goals usually means you have to either do something you've never done, or you have to step out on something that puts you in a vulnerable place where you have to be okay, you have to stand up in front of people or put yourself out there. Put yourself in a situation where you could fail. It takes bravery and the only way that you can have the courage and the bravery to do these things that we're talking about these big dreams that I know you all have. If you're listening this podcast, you have incredible dreams and and just Oh, my gosh and just makes me so excited to even think about all the things all of you has the capability of doing the key that makes you able to step out in that fear and be able to have the courage is these little things that build the integrity within you that you're capable, that you keep your word, that you can do the big things because you are a person who keeps their worth and you will figure it out because there is no law. There is no court in the entire world that could prove to me that you are not capable. Hey, is you conduce this whatever it ISS, but it starts with these little things. These little habits are what build on each other and build on each other and build on each other and give you the deposits in your trust bank with yourself to allow you to be able to stand up again and again and again to make it happen. So going into the new year, figure out what that thing is for. What's the anchor? What's the thing that stresses you out, keeps you up at night? Maybe it is fitness. Maybe it is money. Maybe it's something completely different for you, and that's amazing. Okay? And take the steps to make the change because I'm telling you guys when you have the mindset and you have the tools.
