Welcome to the simplified Success podcast, where we take the complicated, overwhelming and unorganized parts of your business and life and break them down to simple steps so you could integrate them to reach your goals. If you're ready to make the shift from good to great, but keep it simple and you're in the right place. Hello, welcome back. Today's episode is a interview featuring Melanie and Layer, who is a self made millionaire and the woman behind the Alfa Fem brand and trifecta coaching, which, if you've never heard of her or seen her in a the places she is quite the force to be reckoned with. And today's talk. What we went through was really talking about how you walk through struggle and somebody who at one point in her life was, you know, in bankruptcy to creating a multi $1,000,000 business from scratch without any of the bells and whistles that we, you know, are generally told you have to have to run your business. Um, she has a very unique perspective, and this conversation is really about what it takes and how you go from where you're at to where you want to go. So I don't want to give too much away, but buckle up because this episode is going to rock your socks off. Here it comes, guys. Hello, everybody. So today is like, the most magic they ever because you are about to it. I can't even so excited. Okay, we have today here in I don't have a studio, so we don't want to get too excited. But its studio I probably just, you know, the ground crying way have melody and player today, which, if you don't know who she is, you probably live
spk_1: 2:00
under a rock or
spk_0: 2:00
something. Go find him right now in all sizes. But Melanie is someone I'm looking enough to call one of my coaches. I've worked with her through her programs since August of last year, and she literally has transform my life. And I'm just You guys don't even your so in store. So I would let her introduce herself as far as, like, all of her real background stuff. But she's like the queen of all the things. So Melanie, welcome to the podcast. The queen of all
spk_1: 2:26
the things I made that get that tattooed on my
spk_0: 2:28
butt, Please, I
spk_1: 2:29
think I think that would be good for me. The queen of
spk_0: 2:32
all the elephant I I'm so I
spk_1: 2:34
tried to be her Lindsay. And I'm so excited that you got a podcast. This feels so fitting with everything that you're so great at like that you would have one of these. I think it would be fantastic. So better watch the evolution of Thank you for having me is one of the pounding interviews. I feel very cherished and loved.
spk_0: 2:49
Why you should. I'm so excited like I can't even tell you. I look a group of friends that were all Melanie client service, like fans. And I think I was interviewing you and everybody's like you get to talk to her about an interview. I'm like, I know it's pretty. Oh, my
spk_1: 3:05
God. Well, I mean, not my days is made at
spk_0: 3:07
this point, so I mean how those people like who, like people who don't are, aren't already part of the Fan Girl Club who are like, Why are we all fans? Like what? Like, what is the Melanie's
spk_1: 3:19
story? Are you telling the story? So I think what what's kind of fun about me is that I really believe in complete, full self actualization. It's not about, like how to better one area of your life. It's how to be the kind of person who's capable of bettering themselves in all areas. The woman who leaves herself and my brand is out of them. The three main areas they focus on is your mind, your emotional intelligence and your ability to create money. And what I've found is that those three areas can navigate you through absolutely anything. They navigate me through absolutely anything. So these three identities are the boss about us a goddess. So the badass is like your discipline, your integrity, your follow for your word that you
spk_0: 4:07
say something. The whole world
spk_1: 4:08
knows that's happening. Your word is locked. The boss energy is the one that makes the money your ability to earn and generate income. Your ability to be on top of your micromanage like debt and understanding good debt versus bad debt. Not get overwhelmed over money. Not not. Get overwhelmed and turn into a spending machine. Assumes there's money in your bank account like really understanding the different energies of money so you can create well. And then the goddesses. Emotional intelligence, world class communication, compound leadership. How to lead a leader. How to really understand how toe run your feelings so they don't run you and get going into that next level of self, where your feelings are something that you can understand and that you can manage on what's capable on either side of your life. With that. So she who leads herself is out with them, and basically there is nothing that I teach that I have not completely transformed in my life. I think it's what makes me really relatable is that there is a story about everything that didn't work before the story of the thing that works, And I think I just give a lot of people hope that if I could do what they could do it. And that's the joy of my life
spk_0: 5:14
s so true to because one thing that I think there's a lot, and if you're new to the coaching world, then you have maybe haven't seen it. But a lot of different people, lot of different coaches, Even if you're not in the coaching world, there's books. There's all the things right. But I think what makes least for me what makes you so unique is that you integrated everything. And it's not like you're teaching something you've learned. It's you're teaching something that you've lived. And so when there's questions or like how do you How do you work through this issue or this problem? You know, you have answers, but they're in a way that's like ice. I see where you are and not like, well, according to level. By 10.23 on this one study we did, you should do. It's not like that. So it's like, very like, but so how did you get through life? Teoh capture so much wisdom to be able to be this person who's integrated things that such a level. That's because we haven't really talked about this, that Melanie has its incredible life. She's created both in her relationship. In her business. It's like next level doesn't even begin to explain. Like I'm literally talking. I told you before we started the recording like I'm talking to the next Tony Robbins right now. You are listening a woman version of Tony Roberts for sure. So how how did you get to this place at, you know, 30. How do you get here?
spk_1: 6:32
So the thing with me and what I don't believe that people need to struggle in order to get where they want to be. But actually struggling sometimes helps, but not struggling a little bit like really struggling. When you you you go through this like dark night of the soul and you're faced with impending doom. And if you don't do something about it now will, let's not go there. You know, there's something about that and you also often hear stories about people who have gone through hell. And then all of a sudden, there we born. There's something to be said about that. I don't understand why it works, but it works. And my goal is to be able to help people through their self actualization without needing to hit that horrible place in their life. Because although it is very transformative. It also causes mild PTSD
spk_0: 7:20
and all kind of things that I don't think that s so It's not like one side's
spk_1: 7:26
pathologist hit a brick wall, build yourself back up like there's there some downsides for sure. But what it created for me is I got to a point in my life where I got to really look at. What would life be like now if this were it? Like, if this is it now, are you satisfied? Was this really all you got? And it was this full body Resounding Hell, no, Like, this is not it. And I think a lot of people, unfortunately, only realized that when they're actually at the end of their life, you get to look at their life and they go. That was it. Why didn't I go for the job? Why didn't I go for the guy? Why didn't I go on that trip? Why didn't I learned the language when I kissed that man? When I wide and I just do it when I could have Now, now I see. I could have all along. It was available all along. Why didn't I just do it? Well when you have either a near death experience and near death experience or a rock bottom. There is that wisdom that end of an era end of a lifetime wisdom that hits you square across the face and says, This is this all you've got? And that chill is enough to give anyone a second chance, in my opinion. And that's what I was given.
spk_0: 8:45
So at this point in your career and those of you that don't know, Melanie runs on multiples with seven figure at this point multiple seven figure business that she has built from scratch? Um no funnels. None of that. It's all completely, just like she's a bad asset relationships. I just made it explicit. Oh, no. Um, but she's just amazing. And she's built this incredible business. So how do you go from somebody who is not like you didn't come from people who ran seven figure Business is it's not like your parents groomed you for this. So how do you get to the place where you are now? From a money mindset standpoint to cause as much as we all want that another, a lot of people are listening. I would love to win 77 figure business. That sounds incredible, But getting to that point like if that happened tomorrow, I feel like I would just like I would even know what to dio. So how do you get
spk_1: 9:32
there? Well, the biggest tip I would give to anybody who wants to be earning seven figures or more in their business. It's start seeing every failure like a lesson that you actually learn. When I look at people operate businesses and I can tell right away who's gonna make it seven plus figures It was gonna stay stuck at maximum six is the people who every time they make a mistake, they beat themselves up around it and they missed the entire point of the mistake. It's like when you look at any person, just Thomas Edison is my favorite example. He designed the lightbulb, created the delightful how Maney attempts. It was like over 3000 attempts to create this light bulb. Can you imagine if he had never documented any of the failures? We would not have a lightbulb. I guarantee it. If it just felt like a failure. Every time the light didn't turn on, we would never have gotten delightful. What made it work is that every time you looked at this work that didn't work, that one this work doesn't work for How do I readjust this work that's gonna work. What do we do different next time? And by looking at the lessons in the failures, he was able to create something that was so ahead of this time. So what I started doing in my business is genuine with learning from my mistakes and genuinely celebrating what worked so that I didn't just Oh, this just works. But let's not get too excited because I might fail next time. And then all of that failed. Well, that sucks. So just trying something else, like trying to throw spaghetti at the wall and see what sticks. That's where most coaches go wrong. They don't want to look at their failures. The failures feel bad. They try to avoid failure with all all their height. And when they're actually facing failure Oh, then they want to look away from it and not see it not look at it cause it feels that so if you want to be building a seven figure business, learn from your mistakes. Be willing to make mistakes, be willing to look at them and learn from them. You will become wiser, faster than you could ever possibly imagine when you start to find the patterns of what doesn't work.
spk_0: 11:26
So like, I like my mind's blown right outside like, Well, obviously. And I think that's what's so great about the way that you frame things like always. It's like OTA on I Think My Feet, one of my favorite stories that you talk about like you talk about Thomas Edison. But then Walt Disney, I feel that the way that you talk about that story and the resiliency behind that and like how that must have felt. It's like and then you look at, like the glorious nous that is everything that he imagined and he got told. No, like, I don't know. You tell the story Amazing.
spk_1: 11:57
Remember how many times like this 33 kinds, and I love this story because I feel like so often we hear stories of people who almost made it, and we downplay what it took to get there like we hear of. I think it was Sylvester Stallone who sold his dog in order to get the role in the movie. I think it was.
spk_0: 12:19
That's out into the So that's what's alone is Rocky? Yeah, I guess so. He
spk_1: 12:24
writes the script for Rocky, and he wants to be an actor. But you've got a weird and crooked looking look and he's not getting much. Much traction in the acting world is not pretty enough, and he brings this amazing script to a producer and says, I want you to play this but I want to start it and they're like, No, and he's like, Yeah, or I'm not telling you the script And he literally gotten down to his last penny. All he had was his dog. He sold his dog, have money to survive, and they finally cast. Somebody finally picked the script up and cast him in his moving. He became so freakin rich was able to buy the dog back. That story can go six foot over your head, or you can imagine selling your best friend to make one last 10 at succeeding at the thing you think you're meant for when no one believes it knew and everybody tells you that it's ridiculous and you're at the end of your rope. And there is nothing left except with one thing in this world that loves you. And you even put everything on the line with this one thing. Like how you ever gonna see the dog
spk_0: 13:32
again? How you
spk_1: 13:33
ever gonna make the money back? Are you ever gonna anything? And he was able t just believe it himself. Enough of that one. Last thing is what I said to the universe. He means business, given the freakin role. And but people like nobody got the dog back. Do you
spk_0: 13:47
even know how many think about that for a second? Like how many minutes?
spk_1: 13:54
Hours went by days went by between the selling of the dog and the money in his account, where he must have doubted that that was the right choice over and over and over again, when that was the only thing he had given any type of lover support like No, that's it's not that simple that people they dumb down the story won't Disney went to 33 banks, 33 banks. That's just the number. Until you actually realize what happened. Can you just imagine, Imagine, just a program that you're selling right now. Any program, anything that you're trying to succeed in your life, Let's just say for the fun of it that your coach you're trying to sell a program on and you do a Facebook live and nobody shows up on your Facebook live. You go to your coach. Are you don't have a coach. You go to your husband your like, um, nobody watched the live because I go again. Honey, you've got this. It was just a bad night. So the next night you go and you go live again and basically it's crickets again. There has been like, Well, you know, give it. Give it one more shot. I'm sure will be better next time. So you go back when you try again and again. Crickets on the Facebook Live. How many of your listeners even now, Lindsay, do you think would be like, OK, about like on this? This isn't working. Try something else. It doesn't work. You go to the only
spk_0: 15:18
way in or something be like, Oh, obviously Facebook lives. Not for me and back. Which you can't
spk_1: 15:24
do that. It's the bank. Like what You're gonna say the banks
spk_0: 15:27
not for me. I'm gonna be a huge project
spk_1: 15:29
I want to create. Like I've got to get this. Yeah. So just imagine this. He goes for the third time and he gets a known He's driving home and he's like, I gotta go again. So maybe things for something different. He's going to say he gets his clothes dry, clean. He gets ready to go again and he goes again. I'm number four. The bank says no. He has to drive home and tell his wife again. The bank said no. And then the next day he's got to go to another bank because he's committed. This is gonna be Disney World. We can see it in his head and half the half and he goes from their bank. The bank says no. That's five days. Five times now he's going to the bank. The bank says no. He drives all the way home. He goes back another day. The bank says no. He calls his wife on the drive home. Says he got another. No, he goes another day. The back says no. He drives all the way home, watches this close, gets himself put together, goes back to get another day. The bank says no, that's eight times. That's it. Eight kinds. He's like, I gotta go again. This is Disney World here. Gotta go. He drives the bank again. He walks in the bank, gives his pitch. The bank says no. He goes back another day. Yeah, and shows the pitch again. The bank says no, He goes back again. The back says No, that's 11 times. It's 1/3 of the chances you've got. The bank said no 11 times at this point, his wife's like this is ridiculous. We don't
spk_0: 16:46
have time for you to be spending all this gas
spk_1: 16:48
money like cleaning these clothes. Possible fortune there. They're not going to say yes, You've gotta figure something else is like, No, I've got to do it again He drives for the bank again, and the bank says no and he goes home, and he has to tell his wife again that the bank said no. When he gets his clothes ready, goes again and the bank says no. When he goes again and the bank says no, he goes again. The ventures only goes again on the banks of Snow, and his wife was like,
spk_0: 17:08
Please stop
spk_1: 17:09
this madness like they're not. It's not gonna change like this is not. It's not working. You've got to change something like this is Disney World. It's gotta work. So he goes back for the bank, and he does his sales picturing like this time it's gonna work on the bank, says no and he drives home and he considers like, I'm never doing this again. This is unreasonable. But he gets home and he organizes Close, gets ready for another bank meeting and goes back, and the bank says no. And the next day again, the Backs has known the better Next time. After that, the banks is no. The next hands out back says no, and the banks has known the banks have known. The Banks has known the banks is known. He keeps going back. There have even been
spk_0: 17:42
30 times. Yet it's been like 22 times
spk_1: 17:47
in the bank, says no in the bank, says no again at the bank, says no again. He's been back 25 times with not a dime to show for it. His wife, who's begging him to stop and his dream hanging by a thread. But he cleans his clothes, he polishes shoes and he goes back. The bank and the bank says no and he drives home and he's like, I am not gonna quit this. I'm gonna go until Until the bank says yes, this next
spk_0: 18:13
time is the right time. I just know it
spk_1: 18:15
this time with the right time in the bank says no. And then he goes again in the bank, says no money goes again on the banks of family. Goes again the back. There's no people's the back 30 times and the bank says no and I'm sure right there on the drive home one night he thought, I get to 30. I'm not going again like this is unreasonable. But something inside of him said so He grabs his clothes and he drives to the bank and he was like, This is the one And he gives his best freakin sales pitch on the bank, says no and he drives home, cursing this desire for Disney World like What is wrong with me? I'm never going to the bank. I'm never going again, but he can't get can't get it out of his head. He's gotta go. He goes. He publishes its shoes, cleans his jacket, it starts to drive to the bank one last time and says, if this isn't it, I swear to God, that's it for me. I'm not. I'm not going again, I promise. This is it. It's gonna work. I prayed to God and then all the things I was gonna work. My wife freakin divorce me at this point like it's gotta work. And the bank says No. 32 with him. I don't know what went through his head that last time. If he thought I'm gonna try one last time or he thought I'll do it until they say yes. I don't know what, but he got into his car one last time and drove to the bank. Maybe he was expecting, You know, maybe he made the pitch in. Just said here is my idea. And then the bank said Yes, 33 times. I don't know, a human being that would have gone 33 nose like that. But if there's anything bigger than Disneyworld on this planet, show me what it is. This is the thing. Sometimes the size of our dreams are so big that we've got to grow to the courage, the size of the dream we're trying to build. You've got to become Aziz Bigas the dream. And that may take a lot of fighting when it's something really big that you want and you've got to be willing to go again. Even when the world says no and go again even when the world says no and go again, even when the world says no, because the vision of what you believe is available when the world says he s it's so big that it fuels you going over and over and over and over again because you know the world would be less of a police if you were to quit tonight and you go one more time and one more time and one more time until you get it. Yes, that's that's what this is about, and sometimes it happens effortlessly. Sometimes you don't need a fight. Sometimes you're so aligned, you say it, you mean it. You're so aligned. The university, Yes, but other times the dream is so big, you need to be crafted into the person who can fulfill it, because I don't know that Walt Disney would be is Bigas. It is now. If you two got funding on the first day, what do you have? Had the wherewithal follow through the strength of character? Teoh face every person who probably tried to screw him out of money or try to say no to something that he wanted to say Yes, you like? You think we're gonna go the
spk_0: 21:16
Yes. No game and you're gonna win. I'm gonna tell you right now, my friend. I'll go with this. And like,
spk_1: 21:22
his ability to manage his dream had become un destructive. All but he needed to be indestructible before the money came. It was the only way it was gonna work. He did. He stepped up to the challenge. But how many dreams have people had that ended up buried with them? Because they weren't? We're ready to go one more time because they couldn't handle one more. No, that's what you've got to decide in your life. Is it on Lee? As long as it's easy, or is it no matter what.
spk_0: 21:48
So what do you tell your clients with? You mean? Melanie has a very large one, like one on one client. And then she's got all of her. Well, she'll tell you all the things that you
spk_1: 21:56
can. You can find her in all the places and all the
spk_0: 21:58
things. But what do you tell your clients are even yourself when you get to that point where you're like, at trying number 22 it feels like I just can't get up one
spk_1: 22:07
more time. How do you How do you coach through that? The thing is, there is no such thing as you can't get up one more time. Your ego will crap out way before your body does. Your fear will crap out way before your body does. All you need to do is go one step. That's it. One step, just one step. Just one step. That's it. And if you get in your head about what, you can't do it. The big picture you're trying to wrap your head around, not the one step. So that's why I always implore my clients you have got the message Me? When you're in one of those little vibes, I will get you moving again because there is nothing on this planet. I believe I could not achieve one step at a time anything can be done one step at a time. You just got to be willing to take one more step one more 2nd 1 more minute, One more day, One more step, one more time and you'll get there no matter what. I
spk_0: 23:04
love that. So what is your favorite part about your job? You've created this amazing, incredible life, but like, what's your favorite?
spk_1: 23:13
Oh, my gosh, that's a hard question, because only thing.
spk_0: 23:16
Okay, so
spk_1: 23:18
my favorite is the feeling of excitement whenever a sale comes in and money comes into my life like they're, like, effortless and easy and fun. My favorite thing is meeting a new client for the first time and having like that first breakthrough call where literally were on the phone for 60 minutes or something. And I basically know their entire life. And we've already had 20 million breakthroughs. And they're like, What on earth was that? That was incredible. Um, my favorite thing is that every single one of my clients, that's my private client feels like a friend, and it feels like getting on the phone with a girlfriend that time flies by and we niggle it and celebrate all their successes, and it feels like fabulously is the most extraordinary feeling the world. Um, I love channeling new programs and feeling like, Ah, oh my gosh, I've got a new thing I love putting the branding around. I was releasing branding I feel like I love relief. Granted, I love conversations, podcast interviews in my favorite. I love having conversations where things get unlocked and magic happens. My mastermind. I love my master mind. My last mind is literally things all day long, with people celebrating money and crazy opportunities, successes and supporting each other. Like I just love the caliber of mind, like the minds that I'm surrounded by on a daily basis. There's no wonder my life is exciting, like the people I hang out with and talk to on a daily basis. Might as well be a rock star. Celebrities like their outstanding, all of them, and it's so magical. Kony.
spk_0: 24:51
So how do you build a business? And this is like a like a not a trick question, but you just told you just talked about the fact that everyone around you is like your soul mates in every way. I mean, well, you're engaged to your soulmate, which is incredible. That's a totally different conversation. But everything else, like you have all these things in your life that air. Just how if if, if you're at a point in your business where you don't have that, how does someone get to this soulmate of, like, I just love everything about everything. Like, how does someone get there?
spk_1: 25:21
So a soulmate client, NFL name Hartner. Basically all of things.
spk_0: 25:25
Let's do both. We'll do both because you have the most amazing relationship anyways, which is the year on the watch. But yeah,
spk_1: 25:32
well, I think the biggest thing And I talk a lot about this in my friend Patel program with women. But like the first thing women need in life in order be empowered as they need to know what they want. How can you have a soul mate if you don't even know what you want? And we spend so much time talking about what we don't want? What we never want again? What we want to make sure we never have again. We don't really think about what we want. And when we think about what we want, we do it like I want, Ah, partner, that is toll and funny. You know, I want a client that is rich and successful, and it backs, not it. The soul mate client isn't about who they are. It's about who you are when they're there. That's what creates the soul mate, like who I am with Kevin in my life. It's unmistakable, like he's my soulmate. Like who I have become this man in my life. He was my missing piece. He was He was the unlocking of the soul for me because everything I've become has been better since he was there. And I cannot imagine having this much fun building without. And when you look at a soulmate client, it's like the type of client where I've become a better coach because of the clients that coat. Where I get on, I get on a call with them, and when I hang up, I've got a program. I wanted to just channel the program or a quote came through from here. My brilliance has activated in their presence. I feel like a better human, a better coach, a better woman in the presence of these people. And as they rise, I rise at the collaboration. It's not. I help little people do big things because I'm fabulous. It's like we together make magic happen. That's a soulmate.
spk_0: 27:13
So how do you find them? Where are they hiding?
spk_1: 27:16
Well, they're hiding on the other side of your awareness. Like, what do you want to feel? You get really clear on what you want to feel. I knew that I wanted to feel in a relationship like I waas so brilliant. I often felt in my other relationships stupid. And I remember feeling that, like, how dumb do I need to be in order for this to happen to me like, How did I miss this? How do I? I wanted to feel intelligent. I wanted to feel like I was really amazing in my relationship. I wanted to feel that about myself. I wanted to feel sexy. I want to feel beautiful. I wanted to feel funny. You know, a lot of women are like I want a man whose honey No, I wanted
spk_0: 27:59
to feel funny. I wanted to not
spk_1: 28:02
be because there's nothing worse than like Okay, he's the funny guy. Rent. Eventually that wears out like ha ha, You're so funny, but, like, what about me feeling funny? Like what if he never laughs at your jokes? That's how fun I wanted to feel funny. I want to feel. So I started calling in from a place of how I desire to feel and creating that for myself first, because, as we know, a lot of attraction as you attract who you are. As it became clear on what I wanted, I started creating that for myself. And as I created that for myself, I magnetized someone who had the same qualities and values as I had the same thing with my private clients. Like, I want clients that are a lot like me. My ideal client is a lot like me. You know, We laugh together. We book got an amazing sense of humor, were fun where we bounced that quickly. We've got a lot of ideas. Were wild were you know, there's so many things were creative with multitalented like there's so many parts of us. So how do I call in a person like that is I am bodies myself in that way that I attract. Why am so you get clear on who you want to be With that person you become, you start to live in integrity with being that person without the other half, and then the other half shows up. Well, that
spk_0: 29:19
makes it so. This is what I mean, you guys, she takes things that seem complicated. And it's like, Oh, okay, that sounds pretty simple. Be amazing. Be the best version of yourself and the people come like it's so crazy. And it's true like you talked about this. And programs and stuff is like when you're like when you're putting the time into being the best version of yourself is when you like. It's like whenever you're like on the backside of a relationship, and you're like, Start, you hear single or whatever you have this whole different by because you're putting the time and doing all the things to like be the best version of yourself. So you attract all these people and it. Yes, it's just interesting when you but you don't think about it cause you just think, Oh, that's just what happens when you're single, but not really. It just depends how your
spk_1: 30:01
vibe is like what you're trying to create. Well, this is why I really love that were like in the simplified success realm right now, because simplified success to a tractor dream client is be your dream client. Simplified success in attracting your soul mate is be your own soul mate or be as happy as you would be by yourself. You will be when the soul mate comes because there is no soul. Make on hold right now that's waiting to fill the position of I don't want to be bored anymore. I don't want to be broke anymore. I want something that's gonna save me. I'm sick of being alone. I feel lonely like there's no soul mate on hold waiting to fill that position
spk_0: 30:37
like the soul
spk_1: 30:39
mates are waiting for. The joy, the excitement, the sex, the passion, the magic. That's what they're waiting for. So until you're in alignment with that hat, we're in a wait for the full mate required
spk_0: 30:49
a while simplified
spk_1: 30:50
successes. You magnetize who you are, so become someone that's so great. Attracting your vibrational match is a good thing
spk_0: 30:59
because it's crazy. It's true you say that because like I remember when I very first started working with you, the first program I ever did was exponential wealth and was the first time I ever ran. I feel like such a no Gino, because now that program is like mind blowing. But it's so funny because when you you tracked what you are and like the mood and who you become and so like, if you are like this Moby like your human like thin that's what you noticed like that's what you see is all the things that aren't working like It's like murmur and then, like that becomes and then you attract more of the like. And then this happened. And it's like It's so crazy because, like once you flip the switch, it's so interesting how you see the world different, like my gosh like and like And then it's like, glaringly obvious. I was talking to a friend who actually just finished one of your courses, and she she's just going through it now, and I've gone through multiple times and she was like, It's weird. It's like a happy is like glasses now and like I see all the lack that everyone else has, and I just don't have it anymore. And like it's so weird because you do. It's like you like when you take off that you're like and you ever realize you were wearing it. It's like, Oh, it's really bright around here like and all of you are very sad, right? It's just crazy.
spk_1: 32:12
And this is a funny thing. Like I I make fun and I yours. This persona that I sometimes take like make things blatantly obvious when I'm teaching that people just get into this mindset of like, life is hard. Your you know, like I'm I wanted toe have a lot of money, but instead I only have this much money. Your I wanted to have the best friend, but then she's not as cool. The other best friends, the or I want a busy, but I don't have that. And it's like we get so surrounded by people who who look at life like your like. I have my own business, but it doesn't make us Muchas her business. I made more money this month and I've ever made in my life, but it wasn't quite as much as I would have. It's like, what are you doing? Like wearing the celebration energy? Where is the magic? Where's the fun where the excitement but everyone when everyone around you is wearing your goggles and then you're like I know what you mean. I need my job. At least you have ah, frickin business. I'm still stuck on my job and I would have enough for we've he or police. You have a job. I had to create a business they have a place to start from and like basically, I live out of a cardboard box. Your at least you have a cardboard box. I don't even, you know,
spk_0: 33:27
like the Oh, yeah,
spk_1: 33:33
you've got to just take the goggles off and be like, OK, what's great about my life and where am I happy? And where am I grateful? What am I seeing? Where my celebrating with who would who is in my life? When you turn that around, you start pulling in a second half. That's interesting. And having that conversation with you if you're your you're going to get any or match if your figure
spk_0: 33:52
getting bigger that well and the thing I love about that, too, and where it translates into simplifying creating income is that when you start looking at what works, what you believe to be reality shifts so much that all of a sudden it's like a license. Like I feel like the biggest thing I ever got from working like like one that, like, I can't even say The biggest thing the thing I'm gonna talk about right now, that's the biggest thing that I've gotten from working with you. Um Is the license to dream again? Because I think a lot of us will set goals and we we set a goal to make x amount of dollars and maybe you're gonna have a 10 K month this month. That's that's the number for you, right? And you hit eight, and it's like I didn't hit 10. So you start feeling like, okay, I cant hit gold anymore. And the way that you look at the world in a way that you coach, you know, the way that you look at, everything is it's like it's like a license to be able to say I'm gonna have a 10 a month and then celebrated every every step of the way toe where you actually get to enjoy the journey instead of like getting to the end of it or getting to like the result and realizing like I was like a miserable cow. Yeah. You know what? The crazy thing is that you only
spk_1: 35:02
want to 10 k month until you hit a 10. Came on the minute you hit a 10 came on. You want 12? Came on or 15 came on or 20 came on? No. The only period of time where you actually enjoy having a 10 came on is the split second where you cross that line. So if you're only going to get to enjoy split seconds of joy and you're gonna spend a lifetime running, what kind of life is that? It's like you put yourself in constant in constant survival mode, feeling this frantic last energy When you're trying to survive, you can't dream it's one or the other. You're either a dreamer or a survivor. So if you allow yourself to navigate on that dreamer energy But what if, but a positive what? If not? What if this fails? What if I'm never good enough? What it's like? The other kind of what if What if I actually make this work? What if in a couple of years from now this is my reality, or that's my reality. Allowing yourself to dream. Then you get could dance all the way to 10 k, celebrate 10 K and then dance all the way to 15. And to me, that's a much better quality of life.
spk_0: 36:04
Hopefully agree. And I think that's something that, in going through this, I realized you're the life I live now is something I wanted 10 years ago. I exactly what I wanted. But I was so focused on the pursuit of creating it that I it took me going through some of this to realize that I had created it, and I was like, miserably stressed the entire time to get here. And so it's hilarious, because now, as I'm looking forward to my next 10 years or 15 years, not putting time on limits on things, but just dreaming about where I want to go it's like part of my dream includes not being a miserable Cal. The hallway is actually like enjoying. You know what I'm creating as I'm creating it instead of because I think we do this on this pursuit of a goal. We forget to enjoy the life that we currently have And this is a life that we dreamed up at some point, like I don't live with each other day because it's been coming up a lot with my own clients. It's like you guys like, yeah, you want this big thing Dream, by all means dream. But look at what your life is right now. Don't, like, undercut what you have, you know, on the way there. So, yeah, I think that's really big. And
spk_1: 37:09
you help me with that and someone. But
spk_0: 37:11
I make me so happy. And you know, what I had I had a client is actually to be quite laughed. But I had a client that kept asking God. I made her very frustrated, but she kept asking me, like, How am I gonna get to the next level? And I was saying happily and she's like, No, but how I was like, happily and she was like, You know what I mean? Like, how do I do it? And I was like with happiness with joy, you're going to do it in a happy mood was like, Yes, but how am I going to do it? And I said, you're gonna ask yourself how you're going to do it until you ask yourself how you did it. It doesn't actually matter like the how doesn't matter now. It didn't matter then and it won't matter later because even once you've done it once, you'll think How the heck did I do that? How the heck do I do that again? So you've got to just tap into joy, figure out how to get completely aligned in your thoughts, your feelings, your actions and your results and blissfully achieve your goals. You do that will collapse time around. Every single goal you wanted to have on the memories of how you did it will be worth telling. That's the way to do it. And I feel like that's so how you live your life like, because you mean you're pretty transparent with your life and what you're still going on, what you're doing. I'm like, you know, not even a year and 1/2 ago you were having your having good success in your business. But what you're having now, wouldn't have even been fat available to where you were then. So, yeah, it seemed completely impossible. But because of the way that you look at the world in the way that you celebrated things in the way that you kept going. Every time you had a failure, you made it a lesson. And all in all the things that you teach that you literally implement on daily basis, it's just who you are. Like you're an example of all of it, which is so freaking cool, cause even as we're talking about this, I'm like, I've seen this as I've watched you, even from, you know, August of last year until right now we're in October. But whenever this is being recorded, so like, it's insane to see, like, how much you just you live what you preach, You preach what you teach we live with, you preach free, treat each. I don't know whatever you live your life. Whatever, however, that goes on like it's just so it's so incredible because it's exponentially crazy what you've created, it doesn't even make sense like, and I like the most amazing way like it doesn't make sense. And like any business law, a new business teacher or professor would be like, I don't think those numbers are right. I think you need to you need to go check something because you're like it's nothing makes sense but it But it does. Yeah, but see, that's why I know that it make it doesn't matter how, because it doesn't make sense when you're thinking of how do I make a, you know, $500,000 in a month? It doesn't make sense to figure out how you're going to do it. But then, once you've done it, you're also like how on earth like it didn't make sense when I dreamt it up. It doesn't make sense now that I'm doing it, So why waste the time trying to figure it out? Even on the back end of it doesn't make sense. So it's like, Well, all the student of coaching call and have a pretty coffee? Yeah, exactly. Yes, it'll be fine. We'll let it figure it's about Well, it's been okay. I don't want to keep it. I hope your time is so valuable. And I know you have amazing things plan for the rest of this evening. But, um, where do people find you? What's coming up? Where What are all the things like? I know I'm part of the F e, which is like the best thing in the whole wide world. But, like, tell the people about where you are and all the things, and I have it all in the show notes. But tell the mobile things. Okay, so the best way to find me is if you want to, like, know who I am and kind of just connect with me, that who is this chick? Facebook is my platform of choice. I also have an INSTAGRAM account at Alstom, where I post really incredible sound clips. My stories always kind of show you where I am in the world, but I post a lot of valuable content on my instagram. So it's a good place to be in my I just my I G TV also has some great stuff in it, and there's links to my YouTube because I have a YouTube channel where there's a few videos on. There were my longer sound clips are being hosted, and those are pretty cool. So those would probably be the three top places or my free group on Facebook, the also some group on Facebook. That's where you get to connect with me, learn for me a little bit like, who is this woman? Um, then it just kind of depends what? You're in tow. Learn if there's a piece of you that's all about now, you want to tap into emotional intelligence, and you feel like you want to learn how to communicate, how to really deep in your emotional connection to yourself and be able to guide your emotions instead of your emotions running wild with you. A program like some fatal are Alfa Alfa might be a good fit if you're somebody who just is lacking just structure and wants to create a structure for a year that you're really gonna follow through in and have an incredible year or structure for your business. I've got programs that are all about structure and how to really get your goals and complete your goals. Those air awesome. And then if it's about money and I like, I think they're ready to understand this money game actually have a bundle that's that's going right. Now that's got quantum prosperity, cash and exponential wealth for the three money programs that I offer, or you can buy them separately. Those were great and then obviously my best offer that I have is the outfits and experience. This is like my most unreasonable, incredible, irresistible offer. Like the pricing of it makes no sense whatsoever. It is a no brainer. It's the price of 2/4 of coaching for an entire year. With me, you get access to it every single program I offer. And if I haven't to run the multiple time to get access to the multiple times you're in the A F group with me. So you get to ask next level questions and there, and it's just an amazing place. Any time there's a V I p or an upgrade available, you just get it. It's really, really fun. And, um, that programs amazing. So if there's any of this that resonates, I also have one year long mastermind and one on one coaching. So I've got so many ways that you can jump in. But whatever way sets your heart on fire. The when we were like oh, so ready to end a freakin decade on a high in this area, then that's where I would start. And if it's like I'm ready to end this decade on a high in all areas within a SC. But I think the most incredible thing is we're standing on the cusp of the end of a decade, and I made half a $1,000,000 last year before now, in the end of the year, like what is available, what is possible is wilder than you could possibly imagine if you become the person who and I don't know what it's gonna take for you to unblock. But I know that I have a program for it, and I know that there's something that I'll be able to help with because if I could be what you can do it and it's not like I'm anybody special. I just became special because I did. It wasn't special ahead of time. I just became special because I did it, and that's available to all of us so you can find you for free can find me in my programs. But come find me. I'd love to connect with you, and I'm really grateful for this opportunity
spk_1: 44:08
to be on your
spk_0: 44:09
podcast. Lindsay and you're amazing was flew by had so much fun. You're really talented, and I recommend anybody who's, you know, got something to say, get in touch with Lindsay because this is one of the most effortless podcasts I've been on so slow. Thank you. I'm so glad because you're so amazing. And I would I would beg to differ. I know you're special because you made it happen. But I also think that you are special. I say that I mean that in that with all my heart, it's been such a blast. And I'm so glad that you were here on Definitely you guys like I can say this And she didn't ask me to say this. She would never would. But I can tell you like everything that I have learned through working with Melanie has done nothing but make me better in every part of my life. And I'm so grateful for all of the things. So I'm getting really emotional because I'm telling you, like, literally like every different one that she talked about helping me with my emotional intelligence has helped me in every part of my life. Whether it was my relationship, um, my family, with my work like it has literally brought me to an entirely different level and the human that I am right now, like I did my first. If you guys listen to this, you listen to the first podcast. The version of myself who started these programs with Melanie never would have started a podcast. It was like a dream that maybe someday, but I never would have done this. And so, having somebody in your quarter that shows you what's possible but then also makes you feel like you could do anything is worth way more than any money I could ever give this woman. So I'm telling you that if you just go listen her free content, anything like it will it will change your life. So definitely slug on the show. Because she is absolutely credible. And I'm not just saying that it's truly how I feel. So it has been nothing less than an honor to have you on.
